What does the election results mean for your planning application?
I am sure you are all absolutely sick and tired of politics. It has dominated the news for the last week… If we put the drama of Downing Street to one side for a bit, the Local Elections results hogged the headlines with the 24/7 running commentary about Councils changing hands for a large part of the week. The election map looks like a particularly psychedelic piece of modern art… Gone are the days of a predominantly blue or red map has been replaced with yellow, green, light blue and lots and lots of grey (no overall control) that will emerge as even more rainbow colours over the next week or so as Councils agree what Party deals can be struck to form administrations.
So, yes… if you thought this is the end of politics, I apologise in advance… Next week I will have to update you on what rainbow coalitions have been formed.
